Fee-Only Financial Planning

How does it work?

Consult.

Preferably, over a cup of coffee—but this will most likely be a 30 -45 minute phone call. You are ready for financial guidance and to engage in a process that will bring peace and clarity to your financial situation. We’ll talk about your questions and needs and determine if there is a mutual fit.

Conquer.

Conquer your goals; allow us to do the heavy lifting. Our focus is to identify key Elements of your financial health and provide actionable results. We’ll meet regularly to keep your plans on track.

“This process is all about you and your family’s needs. I seek to get to know who you are and what’s important to you before making any recommendations and building strategies.”

— Kyle Long, CPA

What You Can Expect This To Look Like

Phase 1: Discovery

  • You receive a 1 - 1.5 hour assessment meeting (in person or virtually) to talk about your values and goals.

  • We review your current financial picture and you provide us with all of your information for analysis and we get you onboarded to Elements.

  • The goal with this meeting is to discover problems to be solved and opportunities to be seized.

Phase 2: Analysis

  • We analyze all of your information and your unique Elements scores. We identify key areas for improvement and provide you with a list of clear and concise action items (this process typically takes 7 - 10 days).

  • You receive a 1 - 1.5 hour analysis meeting (in person or virtually) where we walk through the preliminary plan, strategies and action items and how we can improve your Elements scores.

  • We then make any updates/adjustments after your input and deliver you the plan.

  • The goal with this meeting is to understand the gap between your goals/expectations and your current outcomes.

Phase 3: Ongoing Implementation

  • Your plan is not a static document, it evolves and changes as life happens (having a baby, receiving a promotion or bonus, moving, etc.).

  • Each quarter we systematically focus on three or more of the Elements to help you improve your overall financial health. We provide robust, clean and well designed reports that are actionable and easy to follow. These reports feature your latest financial vital signs and scores and tracks progress and improvements. You receive quarterly implementation meetings (4 per year) to review and update your plan.

  • Unlimited access outside of our formal quarterly meetings should anything come up.

  • The goal with these meetings is to convert good ideas into actual results and maintaining course corrections to keep your plan on track.
